LESSONS TO LEARN FROM ALIBABA'S FOUNDER AND CHINA'S BILLIONAIRE, JACK MA

This personality has been more than a source of inspiration to both younger generation and older generation who are entrepreneurs and even those who are strategically planning to become one. His name is Jack Ma. He has actually been the richest person in China after raising about $25 billion from his company (Alibaba) at Initial public Offer in 2014.

He has proven beyond doubt that despite how many times you can try and fail miserably, you should never think of giving up. Since life is a matter of trying! This is because Jack Ma sent about 10 applications at different times to get a slot at Harvard but didn’t succeed even once. He had also not get an opportunity to join college after not making through the entry exams. Despite all this, he has transcended all sort of rejection (including a job at Kentucky Fried Chicken-KFC) to emerge as a dollar billionaire.

Jack Ma outlines that if you actually want to succeed, you should be ready to experience failure, rejection and this will indeed mold you and bring a better person out of you. By keeping focused and ever envisioning your dreams into reality by keeping them alive, that would always give you the passion and the zeal to pursue them.

Furthermore, Jack Ma states that you should not incline yourself to complaints that arise from not getting an opportunity; on the other hand engage yourself into looking for more opportunities since if you don’t give up on your dreams, there will always be a possibility that they will indeed come true.

One amazing quote by the Alibaba Founder and Chairman, Jack Ma that inspires me is that “Never give up. Today is hard. Tomorrow will be worse, but the day after tomorrow will be sunshine.” If you can keep that in mind, you will always have that incessant push towards achieving success in life.
