SUNDAY'S VOCATION ON BELIEFS THAT HAVE GREAT IMPLICATION ON YOUR LIFE

It is another great Sunday. Though the weather here today is looking a bit somber, we have every reason to be grateful for this amazing day. Today, I would love to incline my vocational
message of inspiration based on beliefs.

You will come to understand that in almost all religions, the word ‘belief’ is more prevalent when it comes to delivering of sermons. In Christianity, belief has been figured out as the aspect that can pave way to your salvation and lead you to a righteous life. On the other hand, for the Buddhist, they understand that it is only through having the appropriate belief that can they can be guided into the right actions and help them unravel the path to achieving a truthful life.

One thing that come out distinctively is that whatever you have utter belief in, whether is in relation to the religious affiliations, philosophy or even schools of thoughts, it will have some interrelated consequential effect in your life. Actually, it will be reflected on how you will reason, the actions that you will be undertaking and more so the type of life you will be living. Your inner mind will be controlled by the principles and the beliefs that you possess and this will determine greatly the conduct of your life.

Furthermore, one thing that you ought to understand is that your beliefs will only be intertwined or attached to one side in particular; it is either you are believing in peace or conflict, love or hatred, fairness or partiality and even fidelity or falsity. For instance, if you believe in love, you may not shun from giving it regardless of whether you are offering it your compatriots or your adversaries.

As you believe in any principles, keep in mind that they can guide you to having a tranquil life filled with order whereas if you contradict from such beliefs, you might end up leading a haphazard or a chaotic life.

John Allen in his book, “Above Life Turmoil” distinctively states that “Where there is Right Belief there is a blameless and perfect life; where there is false belief there is sin, there is sorrow, the mind and life are improperly governed, and there is affliction and unrest. "By their fruits ye shall know them."

Thus, what you believe is what you will stand for and actually practice its principles. Thus if your beliefs are based on the power of goodness, spiritual harmony that are boosted by the purity of your actions, then you are on good track and you ought to continually practice that!
