Sometimes as I just sit down in contemplation, I can’t
imagine the state that many youths who have just finished their college or
campus or have just graduated undergo. At first, the feeling is indeed awesome
and the celebration, ululations and other hullabaloos that proceed in the
graduation period indeed stimulates the feeling of achievement.
But unfortunately, to
many of us, the feeling is just short-lived. The nightmare and scare of job
search starts crawling and intruding into our minds, if I may say into our
oblongata medulla. The question that keeps lingering is; what next? Then in the
process of concocting and discarding ideas that emanate, what many of us tend
to go for is actually start sending our resume which may either be well crafted or
some of us just wake up and scribble something provided it has their own sketchy details especially their academic achievement.
Nowadays most of these processes of application are done the
digital way. What I have come to understand is that there is no easy way out.
But sometimes I wonder what the employers actually want for a particular type
of job? In some instance you actually find that you have entailed each and every
detail required for your submission but as you keep on login each day into your
email, what do you find? The gloom reality is that there is no response or any new
consideration email. This is something that is utterly discouraging especially
having applied for as many posts and the situation is still the same.
What does this imply? Something somewhere is actually amiss.
Either your CV is not be well crafted, or your job application is not be
matching with the intended post you are applying for or you have not given
convincing reasons to make you outperform other applicants. Try to structure
your resume distinctively, and review your job application (to ensure you meet
the stipulated criteria prior to submission) and it will absolutely work for you. All the
best!
